This valuable conversation allows us to understand your child's mathematical challenges and aspirations, while exploring how their unique learning style can be supported. I believe in complete honesty - if I don't feel I'm the right person to help your child succeed, I'll tell you directly and suggest alternative approaches where possible. My goal is to ensure every student I work with gets the support they truly need to thrive.
Ongoing support, working together
Working together, you'll see your child develop not just mathematical skills, but growing confidence in their abilities. Through regular one-to-one GCSE sessions at my home in Bath, I'll provide consistent feedback on their progress and ensure you're fully involved in their learning journey. My focus extends beyond just teaching maths – I help students develop strategies they can use both in exams and beyond.
Session structure – finding what works best
While sessions are typically 45 minutes – a duration that balances focus and learning – I understand that every student is different. During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss what length works best for your child to ensure they get the most from our time together.
Location – A calm learning environment in Bath
All sessions take place at my home in Bath, providing a dedicated and calm learning environment. During our initial consultation, we'll explore your child’s needs and discuss all aspects of working together, including session schedules and rates.
